Alsalam Aleikum. The Islamic Center of Asheville has made it’s official announcement that Eid will begin on Fri 12. Prayers will be held at the center at 9:30 AM, as well as regular Jummah prayers at 1:30. Hope those stomachs are ready for lots of sweets. Rumor has it that 20 dozen Krispy Kremes donuts were ordered for tomorrow, and another 10 dozen for the Saturday celebration being held at the Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock from 9 AM to 4PM.
